I was alone, I had a burger, onion rings and a soda, $21 pre tip. It wasn't a burger worthy of that price. The burger was just ok. Service was adequate. Cute decor and 50's music. Nothing was bad, just too expensive for the experience IMHO.

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but that was a mistake. Had lunch here about 1pm on a weekday and it was empty. It could be really cute except there's tons of weird clutter everywhere.. Not sure why they think it's a good idea to store junk in plain sight.
As for the food it was decent at best. I was really craving good fish & chips and the nice place I tried first wasn't open yet. Thinking we're right by the ocean it ought to be fresh at least. Well they were frozen for sure. Guess I should've gotten a burger!
Again it could be a cool place but so run down! Broken shades on the windows just left on the floor, looks like no one deep cleans around here. -

We walked into another restaurant to check it out and immediately knew it wouldn't be a good experience so we decided to give Rock'n Rob's a try. I'll know better next time.
It wasn't busy but then we noticed there was only one server and one cook. The server wasn't pleasant and let us stand by the door for a very long time. There were plenty of empty tables, at least let your customers sit and have a glass of water while waiting.
My husband and I both tried the "famous" burger. It was not worth noting as being famous, it was just okay. I'd also like to mention that my husband is a vegetarian who normally doesn't break his diet but decided to give this place his confidence in having a good burger. He was sadly disappointed and I felt bad that he even considered eating meat here. At least the milk shake was good.
The decor is really cute and could take you back in time if the experience would allow. This place has potential. That's if the owner is willing to staff correctly, especially on a weekend. -

My experience could have been better and should have, but as others have mentioned, service and food need improvement. Is it me or are restaurants in this area resting on their laurels and doing the bare minimum in many areas simply because they can? We wandered into another sea food restaurant and could tell the moment we walked through the door it would be a disaster. So, back to "Rock'n" Rob's it was.
I did like the neon and 50's diner motif but something was "off". The owners need to do some deep cleaning and basic tidying up of some clutter that leaves a bad impression at the entrance. Our first server was definitely overworked and had little time to devote to everyone in the restaurant. I am not sure how they could justify having only one server at lunchtime on the weekend. Later, another server wandered in and helped but the damage at that point was done and could not be rectified.
Oh, the food. Honestly, I have had a better burger. Bummer. I almost never eat meat and thought trying their burger would be worth it and sadly a cow died somewhere for a mediocre burger. I did have a shake and it was very good, so not everything was sub-par.
Rob, you can and should do better. I know restaurant margins are thin, but you owe it to yourself and the patrons of the restaurant. -

The only good thing about our meals were the milkshake was halfway decent. We ordered 3 kid plates, a grilled cheese, tuna melt, burger and it was $90. Wayyyyy overpriced for small, straight from the freezer, food. Not to mention the service was so bad it was awkward
